Kodaly UK is a community organisation promoting music learning for all children, especially those who would otherwise be deprived of the opportunity to develop their skills and love for music.
Our passion is for music education to be at the heart of our children’s creative development and for its shining joy to reflect back onto the community.
The K.V.S. provides first class music tuition and opportunities for all regardless of background, including natural musical development from early years through singing rhythmic activities, musical games, dance and somatic well-being.
Piano and violin are introduced early as the most appropriate instruments for learning notation and good intonation.
Piano accompaniment is provided for members throughout and many have won scholarships and competitions and become music performers and teachers.
We hold regular recitals at community venues, participate in local and national gatherings and support our local communities the best we can.
